My daughter loves her toy vacuum cleaner and play kitchen and for the record my husband does the cooking AND vacuuming in our house. The toy vacuum is the only way we can keep her from trying to play with the real vacuum 24/7. And if we had a son I would hope he would love them just as much. What's wrong with getting kids excited about the important everyday tasks that they will have to fulfill as they get older?
