rip off central. the same stuff is on sale at many lovely smaller stores that have a fair mark up. Plus I have an issue with people hiring staff that aren't knowledgeable about home furnishings and interior decor, just about selling cute outfits. These lamps are pretty but are sold absolutely everywhere for far less than the store you mention. crate and barrel offers them for $59 and also one can go to roost.com and order them.
