I'm surprised that this post does not include a review of the Rabbit Air SPA-780A, which is the sleekest air purifier with any substantial power. Most air purifiers cover considerably less space than advertised, so it is important to purchase one with notable square footage coverage. This one is powerful, sleek, has an available wall mount, and is reviewed extremely well.

Moreover, one of the biggest concerns with an air purifier is noise. This one is one of the quietest, if not the best. I recently bought it for my loft in Washington DC, one of the worst places for allergies this year. I just got it and am quite happy so far.

Hi Emily - I just bought a 1200 sq. ft. loft and had the exact same problem. It is a beautiful space with tons of light, but the mixture of harsh extra white and lots of glass made it feel a tad cold for our taste.

We chose to go with Benjamin Moore OC-1 and could not be happier. It's an awesome color, a warm off-white beige neutral, and since we sprung for the Aura paint there were virtually no fumes. If you haven't yet painted your place I can't recommend it highly enough.
