As a fellow artist who exposes their work for comment, I sometimes wonder about people's opinions. While I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, and negative comments can even be helpful, people can really get carried away. They react as if they will be forced to live in the space in question, as well as change their entire wardrobe and lifestyle in order to adapt to their new environment, and they won't go without a fight. It's like getting irritated at someone for ordering themselves food you don't like. While I wouldn't say your home is my style, I don't want your style. I want MY style, and I want you to have YOUR style, and if everyone else wants to have Martha Stewarts style, that's just great.
