@Deepa: Stockton Discount Center at Stockton/Vallejo Sts. across from Victoria Pastry/Walgreen. It is a madcap cornucopia of interesting imported tchotchkes. Also a simple wander through Chinatown would turn these up and more, I'm sure. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Look! All-Purpose Chinese Enamel Bowls |

Call me cynical but do you really think these mirrors were recycled from Thai fishing boats? I always wonder about the frames one sees also in these hues. Don't get me wrong, I love the asthetic but these always have the same pallette. I've not been to Thailand but are there no red or yellow fishing boats? It's the same way I wonder about those bags that are supposed to be made out of recyled sails. C'mon. And "baby carrots". Aren't those just tumbled carrot pieces marketed to be more appealing? I'm just sayin'... Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Boatwood Mirror from VivaTerra |

Dreamy House Tour! The combination of the light, paint choices and "the bones" of the place makes this apartment amazing. That kitchen. You could film a movie in there. I really loved the tour. Thanks. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | SF House Tour: Alison and Joel's Light-Filled Victorian |

Oh, *sniff*, seeing that shot I realize how much I miss Fillamento, the previous occupant of that spot. I think I went into RASC once in that space and couldn't bring myself to return. Am I alone in missing Fillamento? Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic#comments |

Hey greer, Bed Bath and Beyond sells these neat holders that clip your comforter to the inside of your duvet at the corners. Been working for me for a couple of years. I grew up on the east coast (what else is new, SF-dweller?), and my first introduction to the concept of NorCalMod would have to be reading and envisioning "The Serial" when it first came out as a spiral-bound book. Those peeps in Marin sure were wacky/cool/bohemian to my teen-aged self. That sensiblity is largely gone these days, with the exception of my beloved Bolinas. However this weekend, after living in SF for 21 years, I made my first venture to The Sea Ranch for an extended weekend in a newer house in the development. What I found there was the epitome of NorCalMod - a planned environment within the natural surroundings that really worked for me. The architecture is slick but not overly ostentacious and constantly with an eye on how the houses will fit into the coast, fields, hills, and hedgerows. It was just nice and my new favorite NorCalMod "building". Apartment Therapy - Thursday Giveaway: NorCalMod |

These remind me of odd pieces I have in my drawer at home (simpler though: no scrollwork), that I always think of as having come from the gas station as early reward points for filling up regularly at the same station. East coast, 30 years ago or more? Am I losing it? I'm checking on their "hallmark" when I get home tonight... Apartment Therapy - Look!: Interpur Flatware |

As a regular visitor to West Marin, I too, love this store. It is a rare occasion that I leave this establishment without having made a purchase. Lots to look at and friendly staff - often the woman I believe to be the owner. Tons of my jewelry came from this store. Apartment Therapy - Zuma |
