Thank you to each and every one of you for your very kind comments. I feel humbled and absolutely thrilled to know that you like our little home. I'll try to answer all your questions so here goes:

@Melis - You are so sweet. The installation above the desk is Vitra "Algue" (they are linked in the main post) - they were left over after one of my design jobs a few years ago and I love them.

@fl00dy - I think your question is also answered by above comment. And live in Elizabeth Bay (how about you?)
Nice to know other Sydney folk visit here too (and thank you so much for your super sweet comment on my blog!)

@pyrrhic - The miniature bike is one of my favourite little props too! We actually picked it up at a market in Bali for $10 - score!

@nicolezh - A lot of the throws and rugs you mention have a very special meaning to me. They are from Serbia and Bosnia where I was born and where I grew up before immigrating to Australia. Great to hear others are appreciating the literary talents of Ivo Andric. He is arguably the best Slavic author (with a Nobel Prize for literature to his name). I can also highly recommend Milan Kundera if you haven't read any of his stuff already.
