I do have a question about the Gulliver. When we looked at the assembled version in the store, the gaps between the poles on one end were larger than what is specified as safe (I don't remember the specific figure now, but the gap was larger than the recommended soda/pop can.) Looking at this, I'm thinking the one in the store must have been assembled wrong. Has anyone else noted that about the Gulliver? Or should I chalk it up to poor assembly?

So, um, can I just use an ordinary bucket that we have around the house? And for the sink people, is it difficult before the kid can sit up or do you make it a two-person job (one holding/one cleaning)? (Pardon my stupidity...pregnant with the first kid and don't want to buy pointless things...)

We like the cabinet idea best. Deep bins would hide our messenger bags/backpacks better that pieces with shallow drawers. I'll have to check it out at CB2.

Other ideas are certainly welcome. Also, it may not be ideal presenting clean lines, but I'm not opposed to open bins, perhaps like the top two cabinets in the 4-cabinet version of the Bisket Bath Cabinet. http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=118&f=2962

Open bins would still be cleaner than the spot on the living room floor that our bags tend to live now!
