I love my lawn rack. Now that the kiddo has outgrown bottles, I'm using it to hold pens and kitchen nick nacks.

It also doesn't mention the icky laminate countertops we have in this rental. You know what stains them? EVERYTHING.

I second DesignerOK's comment. I don't sew- BUT I WANT ONE... or THREE.

Baby carriers- like the slings and such. It was such a pain to have the baby strapped to me! I was constantly bumping the kids' head into stuff. I guess I just enjoy my freedom too much to be physically shackled with a small baby?

Also, the diaper genie. We emptied our trash every day anyway.

It's tough to find Jenny Lind cribs because they were drop side. I think they've stopped making all or most dropside cribs.

Sure, for the tiny breastfed babies, I can see this working. What do you do when you have poopy clothes from potty training 3 year olds?! Does it work on actual poo?

I currently have our house on the market- and yes. You should. It's a gorgeous and very tasteful mural, but there are just SO many homes on the market- and giving a potential buyer just one tiny reason to keep looking is a bad idea. You have no idea how many realtors I've spoken with who's buyers won't even look at a house if it even has the smallest issue.

Plus- from the looks of the other homes on the market- very few people of the general population have good taste.

That is a fantastic idea! I have so much really good used stuff that I end up donating- it would be so fun to wrap it all up and give it to a good friend! Most of the baby stuff is just silly to buy brand new for tons of $ and use it for such a short time!

Two is the perfect age for a play kitchen! I wish I would have got ours sooner! Even our 1 yr. old plays with it.

We have a stainless steel closing top that we use for all our garbage, we usually empty it about once a day. The diaper pails were so much hassle and sometimes got to be more of a pain than just regular bags! Skip the diaper pail, save your money. Then if you find you ABSOLUTELY can't deal without it, pick one up on craigslist.
On a lot of baby items, it's just impossible to know what will fit your new lifestyle with a baby. We bought things as we went along, and it worked out just fine.

We have Amy Coe's Westport crib and LOVE it. I think the price is pretty reasonable, too!

I've found stashing a large cosmetic bag of Yo Gabba Gabba figurines along with a Magna Doodle to be the best kid distraction arsenal.

Although seriously, no one should ask the question "is your house childproofed." It's always rude, all the time. Just watch your kid and be mindful of where they are/what they are doing.
