I'm officially doing the cure! I've been reading the book and following everyone on the comments stream. I decided to finally load my before photos onto FLICKR so I can fully commit to this.
My boyfriend and I moved to a new apartment (combining our seperate apartments) in February so we did a ton of "pre-work" for The Cure when we moved. Reading the book I've realized there's still room for improvement! The first thing I did was give away our coffee table which we knew was too big for the space and took away from some of the nice furniture we have in the living room.
This week I've re-edited my book collection (and am forcing the bf to do the same with his books) and am painting the apartment! I've done 2 walls (plus the whole entry area) and am thoroughly happy with results so far. I went with a light off-white that changes do a deeper gray/cream/green at night. It's 1,000 times better than the "construction white" we were living with before.
I hope everyone has a productive weekend! We'll be painting, painting, painting.
