Don't you recognize a typo in the original post?

How about in the new year, we reclaim some of our lost time for productive things by eliminating Twitter, commenting on posts with useless words like "LOL" and "Amazing!", stop writing opinion posts on Yelp for free, etc. -- there is a serious misdirection of valuable time spent on useless tasks so that people can exclaim how busy they are. Time spent organizing Pinterest boards? Enough said.

You could always spray paint a tape dispenser, stapler, whatever, in gold and save real money.

Frankly, I've never been in a Target and seen anything I had to have. I guess I'm just not that interested in cheap crap from China. I'll take a one-of-a-kind Mom-and-Pop store any day. The American landscape is continually ruined by plopping down the same shopping center containing a Target, a Michael's, a CVS, a Chili's, etc. I never thought it would happen but I've watched New York City turn into a suburban shopping mall. I preferred "Nolita" before it became a real estate neighborhood. I guess I'm just getting old and bored with mediocrity in every form.

Instead of buying new mini toiletry bottles for travelling, save the free ones you received and fill them from your big bottles at home before you leave.

We're losing the NYC flower market to corporate tourist hotel chains that are tearing down the old spaces for their box rooms, so enjoy it while it lasts.
