It's beautiful, but it's such a waste of time and wood. The least he could have done is come up with a more interesting shape. Video Alert: How to Make a Lampshade from a Stump MAKE |

It's a great paint job and it looks very stately, but the colors sucked fun out the building. I'd add orange in there to help balance it out. Before & After: Painting a San Francisco Victorian |

It doesn't look like a lot of cabinetry so replacing them is probably an option (if it is in your budget). However, I would also include a drop leaf table on the adjacent wall for some extra work space. If replacing isn't in your budget, I'd try wrapping the doors in a cool contact paper and adding hardware. How To Modernize Senior Housing Kitchen? Good Questions |

I always try to mix up textures when I have a room with multiple upholstered pieces. Velvet is nice, but it looks even better when you pair it with a woven wool or chenille. I'd suggest switching out the pillows with solid white canvas pillows to help pull the room together. How Much Velvet Is Too Much? Good Questions |

This sounds like a great way to serve cold desserts or sushi. I'd also line the bottom with a towel to keep the whole thing from slipping and to catch condensation. Make A Cold Serving Station With This IKEA Hack IKEA Hackers |

I just tried this recipe tonight. I figured since chocolate comes in 100g bars you need roughly 100ml of water or a little bit under half of a cup. It worked out beautifully. Make the Best Chocolate Mousse Ever in 5 Minutes with Just 2 Ingredients Cafe Fernando |

I'm not crazy about all the arbitrary shapes and angles. They don't serve purpose for the room and seem little more than a decorative attention grabber. Clearly the designer spent more time on the computer dreaming up angles than in the actual space itself which is a simple rectangle. Dynamic Spaces: Joey Ho Design |

I would not recommend painting tile. It does not look good. If you do not like the tile try painting the other wall surfaces a different color and switching out the shower curtain. Your perception one color often changes when you change the other colors around it. Tile-Painting Tips or Avoid it Altogether? Good Questions |
