Here's how my husband and I deal with ours:

Our DIY solution works pretty well for our road bikes, but it might not work as well for those with cruisers.

When my husband and I bought our first house, we only factored in the cost of the monthly mortgage payment into our budget, which was actually cheaper than what we were paying in rent at the time. The important thing we forgot, however, was to include taxes and insurance that were being socked away in escrow every month. That increased our monthly payment total by a third. Ouch, definitely.

I definitely fold my fitted sheets this way and have for the past few years. What really did it for me was when a friend (who learned from her mother, btw) showed me how to do it. Maybe ask around to your friends to see who uses this method and can teach you. Good luck!

I can't wait to see where this goes! I love to learn more about particular plants, so doing a feature once a month or so would be awesome. Maybe show the garden settings that are the best, plant pairings, etc.

Be careful about storing candles in the off-season! I made the mistake of accidentally storing a cranberry-scented candle with my Christmas decorations-- in my Georgia, hot-in-the-summer attic. Now half of my Christmas stuff smells of cranberry. Lesson learned!

Cluttered fridges make me nervous (who can find anything on one that is completely papered?!), but I still like to have some things out. The front of our fridge has: the current season's to do list, my honey's daily honey do list, current party invitations, and three DIY folders with magnetic backs to corral most things. Our reusable/erasable grocery list and cleaning list hang out on the side that's hidden from the kitchen entrance. We still end up losing some coupons, but it looks much neater.

You could try it like we have at my work place. They've painted the main wall, plus the front of the soffit, leaving the underside white or cream.

Wow! Just did one of these myself, but with the help of three other people. Great job!

Glad to hear your husband is back safely.

I've actually been surprised at how much my husband has liked Ikea's Poang chair. It's not necessarily a "recliner," but it definitely reclines and is very comfy. Don't know if it's quite what you're looking for, but it's worth a shot! They're offered in many colors.
