Ana- take your chair to a company that specializes in plating. Here are some Los Angeles companies that would fill your needs: Beverly Hills Plating on Robertson 310-271-1701. They are family owned and super friendly. I have used them for 3 projects of mine. Also, Faith plating on Santa Monica Blvd. 818-783-4582. Faith is on the expensive side but capable to handle small and large projects. Look at plating companies that are in the Valley as it might save you some dollars. Hope this helps. I have wall to wall black bamboo floors and they are nothing short of a pain in the ass. I have learned that since it was once a plant they can NOT be sanded down and re-stained like normal hardwood floors. I have been told that this is due to the fiber-is quality of the wood. Yes it they are environmentally friendly but they have large draw backs. I am getting estimates to replace them with a common hardwood. Good luck. Apartment Therapy's timing is uncanny. For the last 2 weeks I have been looking for a nice glass container for my mouthwash and pre-brush rinse. Looking at the labels and the badly designed bottle is no fun. I would steer away from the carafe with no top, as I think dust would settle in. The set is beautiful. I just purchased my first home and it would be a great house warming gift from my favorite website. I have not won anything since 3rd grade when I guested that there were 523 gumdrops in the jar. My dentist was not to happy. ZIP TIES AND VELCRO Simply roll up the extra cord and zip tie them.(they come in all different colors as well) Then put a small swatch of female velcro on the cord and a small swatch of male velcro where ever you would like to hide them.Done.......
