I don't think this sofa ever came in a backless style. Also none of the fabrics from room and board should ever be drycleaned unless its a slip cover. They have a care instruction sheet on their website and nothing is mentioned about dry cleaning. Make sure you speak with someone from the store you are purchasing your upholstry from before trying any cleaning methods other than instructed. The wrong tratment can ruin a fabric permanately.

I have several pieces from Room and Board and the quality is incredible. Overall it is a great value and the pieces should last several years. I have had a Metro sofa from Room and Board for 5 years and it is in great condition. I don't have any pieces from cb2 because while they have great accessories, their furniture is just not made as well. If you go to Room and Board and CB2 you will easily see that their quality is much better in person. Also, if you have an issue or a problem their customer service is amazing for years after you have purchased something.

If you are looking for something more comfortable than maybe you should look for something that has cushions rather than a tight back sofa like the westwood, but if you are all about style I think its a beautiful sofa that will last for years if you care for it properly.
