We did the exact same pink theme for our daughters second. We did pink fruit for the kids and pink iced cupcakes. It was late afternoon so we did pink cocktails for the adults ;-) I did pink plates utensils and table cloths. For decorations I did a bunch of pink balloons in thee or four shades some in helium some regular air (the kids loved kicking them around) Ideas for a Non-Princess Pink Party Good Questions |

We are in our 4th year of the walmart parklane (it got a three week break between baby 1 and baby 2). We love it and other than some teething marks it looks brand new. It's been taken apart and put back together for moves a few times, a few months of the toddler rail (perfect transition!) I rarely sing the praises of walmart, but this one is great. We have a similar situation, our daughters room has three external walls so it's temperature fluctuates a lot more than the rest of the house. It's not cute, but I highly recommend a monitor with thermometer. We have the phillips avent. It is so nice to know if it is too warm or cold without having to go in and risk waking her! Good luck.
