Black garage doors would give a stately kind of feel to the front of the house. especially if you accented other areas with touches of contrasting black. I agree with Aninhas. Tent the top 1/3 or so of your bed with fabric that you swag across the ceiling and down on the other side of the bed. I've tried to hide doors in my apartment and unless you have the space to put large pieces of furniture in front of it, I think this is your best bet. How To Hide An Unused Door? Good Questions |

I agree with misssarahjessica. You could turn the top row into open shelving by removing the cabinet doors and paint the rest of it either white or the colour of the walls to help it recede.
