A solid or texture would be nice. I also think that a teal color would look nice with the grays, yellows, purple. staying solid with the chair gives you the most options with the future sofa. cheap project, and they turn out great! i bought some old glass bottles and vases at a flea market to use, they turned out really nice. it might have cost $5 total to make a few vases, and still have spray paint and fabric paint left over. Not sure if it was mentioned in any of these posts, but you could change out the hardware on the cabinets. New pulls make a huge difference. You could change the whole look of the kitchen by painting the cabinets and putting in more modern pulls. This kitchen has great potential! Suggestions for a Vintage Kitchen?
