I like a rich, deep merlot at the moment. (the color, not the wine.. though aren't they one in the same?) The purple-red tones ooze with the feel of crisp fall days. I especially enjoy the contrast of merlot colors with a mustard yellow. I'm trying to incorporate those colors into my fall table settings. I use brown bags instead of plastic garbage bags to keep in my trash cans. I switched all of my light bulbs to energy efficient fluorescents. I only purchase and use recycled paper. When cleaning my home, I stick to non-toxic cleaners whenever possible. It's my own personal challenge and it feels good to do my part for the environment.
