@fannyekdahl, thank you for your post. I feel the same way and didn't know how to articulate my feelings. I remember another fashion blogger whose home was featured and I don't remember reading comments questioning her purchases. Quite frankly, I believe that some of the responses to this house tour are rooted in implicit biases of who is "allowed" to purchase certain items.

Sai's style is not my style, but I wholeheartedly love what she did for her place. I find it particularly commendable that she was able to purchase furnishings from discount stores and put things together so seamlessly. That was the first thing that stood out to me.

I can't exactly explain why, but I simply love this space. There isn't one particular element that stands out to me. I suppose it's the place as a whole.

On another note, I'm noticing an uptick in the number of apartments featured outside of the US, and I'm really enjoying it.

This is an awesomely awesome house tour. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I loved this house tour - "chic eclectic" is a very fitting description. I love the textures, the colors, but most of all, I could feel the happiness and joy, if that makes any sense.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn't say that whoever photographed this home did a great job. It allowed me to get a sense of the rooms within the home itself. It was a job well done for a lovely home and family.

I love it; in fact, this is one of my favorite house tours to date!
