So lucky to be in Bay Ridge - what a great neighborhood. And you've done the place right with this renovation. Really visionary work here!

It's as if Claire Underwood had a warm-hearted sister! Lovely home. I covet your library! Thanks for sharing with us.

(applause)

This is just beautiful. Two thumbs up for the oyster dish collection. Although this skews a little more feminine than I could live with for the long-haul, I can't deny that it's perfectly executed.

Evan's place was so great. Glad to see it in the spotlight again.

Re: Bedskirts. Some of us fussy little girls and boys use them to hide the stuff we must store under our beds (luggage, etc) because we live in small apartments.

Just beautiful. Someday, when my cats are long gone.

I agree with the white and grey recommendations. What's most important: your grandma did some beautiful quilting! I feel very fortunate to have quilts made by my grandmother and great-grandmother and I'm sure you do, too. What better way to decorate a room than with love. (Sappy, I know - but 'tis the season.)

Longtime fan here. Buy a dozen now and they'll likely last you for a good portion of your remaining lifespan.

I recently purchased a dozen to use for practice in dyeing techniques.

Well done! First off, it's nice to actually see someone gracefully navigate the challenges of a truly small space.

But what I really like is that none of this feels contrived. Your unique accessories and art take center stage so your IKEA blend into the background. Nothing here feels overwrought to me.

I think this might be my favorite HT in a long time.

And that deco-style vase on your dining table? I have the same one in a jadeite green. Do you know anything about its origins? Mine came from a great-aunt's place.

This place totally makes me wish I was single. Lovely, lovely color and cute vintage action.

I've always gone with dry detergent in a box. Lots of loads, no awkward bottle to shove into a space and you can stack more stuff (dryer sheets, etc) on top of it.

I've used this Arm & Hammer stuff for years, in part because they've always offered unscented and the like and its pretty inexpensive. No one has ever told me that my clothes look unclean.
