Every vegetarian I know would be severely unimpressed if I served them Shrimp... with it not being vegetarian and all.

I can't be the only one that thinks the pool bedroom could be fairly disastrous should a couple ahem, make love vigorously... falling into the pool with the bed! not good!

Pink traditionally was actually reserved for males as it was considered a more vibrant and therefore masculine colour whereas Blue was pale and softer and said to be more feminine - this reversal has only occurred over the past few hundred years.

You have to wonder how it happened to the point of boys and men often avoiding the colour now to avoid being thought of as feminine?

Allowing the child to be their selves is key.

locked... and it drives me crazy when people I know don't.

The nice area idea is simply put deluded...
if its a nice area then its going to be a target because generally speaking nice areas contain nice cars, household items etc. so if anything that nice area is a giant target mark.

Criminals are going to want better goods they can resell for a higher price.

also the expression 'dont s*** on your own doorstep' springs to mind!

Love the idea and execution:
The chalk board idea is a nice touch...

Things I will do if i use this idea:

*treat the underside as a canvas and paint it something abstract perhaps. Think thats the artist in me seeing a usable surface though.

* or if using the chalkboard idea, attach a shelf beneath that would fold under when in use as a table but add a bit more usability when in its storage position.

* find a way of attaching a tea-light lamp or something similar whilst the table is in use.

If you're keen to have 2 separate areas I'd suggest perhaps using neutral voile curtains to seperate the 2 spaces from each other... Whilst it would still allow the light to travel through both areas it would give you enough definition and hide the awkward painted line that would be there...
