I went to New Zealand for honeymoon last year and was very impressed by their effort to conserve energy. One of the hotels we stayed required the room key to be inserted into a box which turned on the electricity in the room. And I actually really liked the electric outlet with on/off switch. I think my apartment in LA had that too.. but I never utilized it. Their hotels had electric tea kettle and silverware and real milk! We were amazed when we got our McDonald's breakfast on a real plate with silverware! It was nice seeing everyone trying very hard to keep their beautiful land clean. I miss New Zealand! the map actually shows my neighborhood - little tokyo/arts district. i did check crime rate before moving into the current neighborhood. despite living in downtown LA, i can actually walk around my neighborhood(as long as i don't go beyond 4th & san pedro) How to Use Research to Find Your Perfect Neighborhood |
