I LOVE the bright door!

Sure, it would be nice to replace the floor at some point, but all of the other changes disguise it (or just distract from it) really well. I LOVE the light blue over the windows. Such a great detail.

I had an entire wall covered in magazine clippings, plus a poster I made for the BSB concert I went to in 6th grade. Screamed/cried through the whole thing and could have sworn Nick was looking RIGHT AT ME! Oh lordy.

I love this! And I live in Spokane, too! Which mid century shop did you two discover? The only one I'm aware of is Unified Groove Merchant, which is fabulous, but I'd love to know if there's another place in town. Also, where did that blue pillow with the bird come from? Love it.

I am totally doing this tonight. Maybe not heels and a dress, but I feel like a little red lipstick might go a long way.

Okay, these are beautiful, and I can see why the extra storage would come in handy. But I really can't imagine storing anything breakable (like the dishes in the second photo) up that high, where I'd have to make it down a ladder carrying them. Could be useful for less fragile things, though.

I want to jump through these photos and relax on that porch for a few hours. Or days. Or...months? I must be in need of a vacation. Hmm. Anyway, beautiful view, and I appreciate that this feels like a place where real people live. Looks like a wonderful home for those two boys!

This is hilarious. I think any excuse for a party will work with the right people! Sometimes the more ridiculous the better. And that shower looks amazing!
