I love old/classic items being made modern by something so minimal as paint or fabric. You don't have to be a fan of yellow or a specific print to say well done!

I made this during Christmas week, again and it was perfect. In the process of making it today too. The only thing i did differently was measure my ingredients. I am beginning to think that is key. The scale I had on hand was a very old weight watchers from over ten years ago but it worked. I intend to go out and purchase a decent scale to use with all my baking recipes! Great recipe!

I'm first generation Italian-American and growing up dinnertime was at the table as a family, period, end of story. As an adult I really can't tolerate eating anywhere but the table...and who eats on their bed? GROSS.

well, I baked mine today. I essentially was "pouring it" onto the cookie sheet ;) So maybe it was something I did wrong... it looks free form but I think it taste good, chewy slightly nutty and tangy. Having my parents over tonight I let you know what they think.

I making this right now and I am needing it in the mixer for 15 minutes. I live in Philadelphia and it's a chilly day. The dough seems to be staying at a batter like consistency. I'm not sure if I should be adding more flour. But the dough is very loose and I don't believe it will come together into a ball.

Love this kitchen, similar to my own... really liked the breakfast nook/eating area -- the seating!!!!

I love watching shows about food & cooking, however we have the food network, cooking channel and pbs. But in this case I would have preferred OLTL & AMC stay on the air! I've watched them since I was a little girl! As trite and unsophisticated as it sounds they consoled me during difficult times. I turned to them when I was laid-off, when family members died and when I just needed to relax after work. They are my secret guilty pleasure. They provided an escape and comfort -- like going to my Nonna's and having her prepare a meal for me from scratch. Another reminder that I am not a kid anymore... and all good things do end. It really makes me sad.
