We purchased a nice old wooden rocker (a lot like the one pictured) at a flea market for our nursery. I can not tell you how many hours I spent in that rocker cursing how uncomfortable it was. Get a cushy glider. You are going to spend countless hours in that thing, especially if you don't opt for the cry it out method.

I am a teacher at a public school in Chicago. I sponsor our school's garden club and we have plants stolen form the school grounds every season. Its pretty bad when you have a group of 30 little kids out planting after school on a Friday and then come back on Monday to see most of their work has been stolen. Its very easy to get discouraged. Stealing from a school garden? Thats pretty low.

I think the shape of the second table is a much better fit for the space, but that table base is killing me!

We purposely buy house plants that have large or plump leaves because the cats stay away from them. Any plant that has leaves that are somewhat long, thin, or grass-like and they eat them up!

I'm pretty sure those "fabric banners" at Crate & Barrel are sold at the Crate & Barrel Outlet as fabric sold by the yard. I've seen lots of Marimekko at discounted prices.
