I love doing cabinets or closets in a different fun color. I did a great room for a young girl with pale pink walls and a bright orange closet....she loved it! No, this is not okay and it has nothing to do with feng shui. Other than the fact that it doesn't follow the angle of the ceiling and it's way too symmetrical over the bed, and therefore out of proportion, it looks sloppy. The pillows are killer, but the collection needs to be edited. Take 3-4 of the cool looking 'profile' plates and line them up vertically and evenly spaced.
