Running TV power cord in wall is against the code. TV sets power cord is not a in-wall rated and a potential power hazard. He should have used something like a Power Bridge Kit or a similar kit from Monoprice.

You guys should take a look at Western Digital Live Hub. It plays pretty much anything and it can play from either attached HDD (via 2 USB ports) or over the network from the PC/Mac. It has support for OTT online services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc...

The max weight of TV that SofMount can carry is only 75 lbs. My 52" set is 105 lbs. As nice as this idea is, it's a no go for me from the start.
