I had been a canon camera guy for ages, but was really let down by the s95. The one I got was full of problems. I picked up the J1 for a steal, at about 200 dollars with lens and I love it. Its not a perfect camera but its an excellent camera for what I paid.

HA! Great space! For me originality and personality beat out a sparse modern or straight out of a catalog house any day.

This I love: Riot Girrrl banner, calendar over the bed, all the art work, and the pops of color used through out, especially with the vintage textiles.

Doesn't Ikea have a system that works much the same way for about the same price? I'm almost certain they have an LED strip that can be connected to make rows of light strips like this.

Yes! For me it was the popcorn ceiling, that one day I had enough of seeing and just took a scrapper to. Half way through I learned that soaking it in water made it way easier to take off....wish I knew that 3 hours ago, but it was super satisfying to have a nice clean popcornless ceiling.

I think the new one is beautiful and in every way better than the old one.

BUT, I really like the tile in the old one. Just not where they are...ie move the blue subway tile from the floor to the wall, and the wall tile as just an accent tile, and its great.

Yeah, and even though the K is an official letter in the spanish alphabet, no native spanish word uses the letter, so some people don't consider it a real letter in the alphabet. Yes. I have to second that. If you have uncomplicated taxes...even semi complicated ones, really look into e-filing yourself. I have super simple taxes, and this year it took me longer than usual because I used TaxAct originally and it wouldn't let me just file my free federal taxes like it has in the past, so I used something else. If you live in California, they have 2 awesome systems depending on complexity of your taxes. I use the simplest one, that basically verifies your information and tells you what you owe or will get refunded and it takes about 15 minutes. I love it.

This really misses a great swat of Los Angeles. Plus DUM DUM DUM Those neighborhoods are not the east side. North East Los Angeles, is the East Side. Places like High Land Park, Eagle Rock, El Serno, Lincoln Heights, area actually east of DT. All the places listed are north of DT and are for all intense and purposes just north central LA. Just like we have a south Central LA.
