wow, how cool! i think it'd be a pretty mobile chair. it would be in the living room most of the time (living room is orange and brown and it would match great =), but sometime it might travel to the bedroom for storytime.

I love this stuff! I have a couple of the ball storage ones because they double as toys, hard to open food containers, and of course, food storage =) i have been wanting to go back and get the baby dispensing spoon and toddler cup =)

We're getting the Fisher-Price Space Saver high chair and strapping it to one of our existing counter-height chairs. I don't know if that'll work in limited space (it means getting a counter-height chair with a back), but it's not too expensive, sturdy, and easy to clean.

Ooh, lime. I am a nut for lime and lots of pockets. My ideal bag would have the purse essentials (phone, keys, emergency change), food for baby AND Mom and Dad, cleanup stuff (diapers, wipes, tissues), and toys and Dad's Nintendo DS for amusement.

I'm tempted to get the 5-shelf wall-mounted one!

Another cheap and easy DIY project, which actually references ohdeedoh =) http://ikeahacker.blogspot.com/2007/11/childrens-book-storage.html

We'd hide...I mean...STORE...all those blankets that sweet people have been knitting us for our baby. The blankets are great, but they don't really match the room =)

For an alternative penguin option, I recommend the Cream Cheese Penguins on allrecipes.com. I made an igloo cake last year with the little penguins on the side and it was hit at the party =) The penguins don't taste great (unless you like olives with a lot of cream cheese), but they look cute and are easy to make.

I'm planning to sew some things using Amy Butler Fabric (amybutlerdesigns.com) Have you looked at her stuff? It's kind of that vintage/retro feel, though more specific to fashion and homes than baby.

I was also thinking about the Park Lane crib, mostly because I ended up really like the Park Lane bedding =) Also not excited it's from Walmart, but I can't spend $300 on cute bedding.

I ended up getting the IKEA Gulliver crib, and it's been great. I really only thought it would last one kid (which still puts us ahead price-wise), but it's turning out to be really sturdy and should last awhile. It does lack a drop-side, but I tested some out and didn't like them anyways. So, it doesn't seem like the ParkLane at $300 is really worth it. But if you wanted to the cub sleeper, that's an entirely different story. Cute crib!

Love the block-styling and teal tones in the inspiration picture. Wish I had enough room in our baby/guest room for all that furniture!

Stroller-wise, I have nothing to offer. We have a Zolo ring sling and aren't planning to get a stroller until the baby gets older.
