I have a small collection of books that I've whittled down to just my favorites and I wanted a unique but inexpensive way to display them, so I went to the hardware store and bought white metal L-shaped shelf brackets for 98 cents each. Each bracket has a max capacity of 85 lbs which was more than adequate. I screwed two brackets side by side about 5-6" apart into the wall about two feet above the floor and stacked my collection on top. I'm not crazy about the brackets showing (I should have hung them a little lower), but I LOVE seeing my favorite books hanging out on the wall and not stuck in a boxy, ugly bookcase! My grandparents live out of state and they had a player piano. When I was little and we'd visit them, I would ALWAYS play as many songs as they could stand listening to. I loved making such beautiful music just by pedaling my feet! Sometimes it caused a whole family singalong. Player Piano Scroll Lamp by Structure Design and Build |

After a 4 year relationship ended, I remained in our apartment for a month. I kept everything the same, including sleeping on my side of the bed because I couldn't handle any more change than what I was already going through. Moving On: Post-Breakup Apartment Therapy |

I've seen a tattoo of measurement markings along the side of someone's thumb before. Very simple, looked exactly like the lines on a ruler for the first 3 inches. So funny and really clever! Forget The Tape Measure: Try Ruler Stickers! |

Pic #4, lower left corner, is the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. One of my favorite movies. Everytime I drive by that area I try to spot it :) I have yet to find it, though. Hello Houseboats! Life On Seattle's Shores |

I read in My Life in France, that Julia Child and her husband not only slept in different beds, but in seperate rooms entirely because of his snoring. Every morning, though, Julia would climb in to bed with him and they'd read the newspaper together. Didn't seem to hamper their marriage :) Sleeping Style: Twin Beds |
