My father told me about this trick years ago and I use it a lot. The other thing for heavy doors? Replace two of the short screws with longer ones, especially the top hinge but at least one on all hinges going into the frame. Thanks for this! Lovely things, looks very appealing but I'm with everyone on the pics. No idea how it is laid out and some of the pic angles and shots drove me nuts. Beautiful home with some wonderful things. But again, as usual, AT looves the close up shots of groupings of collections on tables and single shots of an object that seem to go on FOREVER without giving the viewer any sense of what the layout of the rooms or house really is. My partner calls it "the Grape". lol. The guy who sold it to me didn't have a clue. I also got two Oberman pod chairs from him for $10 about two months ago and a set of Lane Acclaim tables and coffee table for $30 about 6 months ago. Oh, and 4 Laurel lamps for $5 apiece.
