We are eating mostly vegan this summer, and I've found I have to think about my pantry very differently to get good flavor. A generous stash of ginger, jalapenos, tasty vinegars, lemons, limes, and herbs is a must. And indian spices. We are making a lot of indian dishes with coriander, cardemom, garam masala, etc. Have you tried fenugreek seeds? They have a wonderful richness. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Help!
