We use that IKEA dresser as a changing table, too. We knew it would be a little tall for us, though, so we assembled it without the legs -- works perfectly for now, and we can put the legs on when we no longer need a changing table.

We have the 6-drawer captain's bed from Gothic Cabinet Craft, paired with the floating headboard:

Not the most highbrow option out there, but it's sturdy, affordable, and provides a ton of storage.

I have the eBags "Weekender," and I'm extremely happy with it. Similar design to the Patagonia bag above, but only $60.

Looking closely at the Patagonia bag description/views, I think the eBags option might actually have some advantages, including better padding on the shoulder straps, and cinch straps to help keep everything as compact as possible.

I just got the Lenox, and I find it quite comfortable for both sitting and lounging. Definitely not sink-into-the-cushions luxurious, but judging from the other options you've identified, that doesn't seem to be what you're going for here. And it's hard to beat the price!

One bit of advice: go to the showroom and check out the fabric samples to be sure you're getting the color you want. I ended up going with the charcoal after finding that "cement" was a bit lighter in person than it looked on my screen.

Good Question: Which Sofa?

I enjoy the AT Home & Garden Roundups. Although I do generally read that section myself on Thursday mornings and therefore don't often use the links, I imagine a number folks visit the articles for the first time because they find them here. And I like that the posts on AT provide a forum for comments and discussion.

I use a mason jar for change (mine is a spaghetti sauce jar with the label removed), and it, too, holds about $100. It usually takes me 4-6 months to fill, and I like the simple look; mine lives in a little nook on my bookshelf, but could also fit inside a drawer. It's the perfect size, IMO; coins get pretty heavy in large quantities, and much more than this would be hard to carry around when it's time to cash in.
