When we lived somewhere where nobody wanted to visit, our guest room was a waste. However, now that we live in a place that people enjoy visiting, our guest bed is in frequent use. I doubt that we will ever live in such a spacious place that the guest room doesn't have a secondary or tertiary purpose. I just got over food poisoning, and after that, soup was my best friend. It took a long time for my system to recover, and I found that small meals of soup interspersed with other plain foods helped my stomach considerably. What Do You Eat To Recover From Food Poisoning? |

Comparing yourself to other people (or measuring yourself by them) is always going to leave you just as unhappy as the author of this article seems to be. The author's criticism of the "radical homemaking" movement seems to stem more from her dissatisfaction with her own life than from some external oppression. If luxuries are so important to her, then maybe a career change is in order.
