My favorite cookbook of all time is The Adirondack Country Cookbook, compiled in the 1980s by a community in the Adirondack mountains. It's now held together by a rubber band, but nothing I've ever found comes close to the phenomenal recipes inside this gem. I melt just a tablespoon of butter for 2 servings, pour it over the popped corn, and then sprinkle on cinnamon if I'm looking to cure my sweet tooth, or grated parmesan and red pepper flakes for a little kick. The topping won't stick to every piece but enough so that you get TONS of flavor in every bite. Yum, now I'm hungry at work. How Do I Get Seasoning to Stick to Hot Air Popped Corn? This might be a silly question, but would we call this a comparatively "healthy" cake? I also find for a veg "BLT" a cream cheese spread works really well (it stands up just a tiny bit better to picnic heat than mayo does). I love a nice, whipped rosemary-infused cream cheese with those fat, beautiful tomatoes on crusty bread toasted to perfection... Man, am I hungry. Everyone keeps saying that as much as we all want change, it's simply out of the question because of USDA regulations. This might be a naive question but... how can we get our government to take notice and change legislation? Michelle Obama's main cause is childhood obesity, and if I'm not mistaken, she LIVES in the White House. There must be a way to implement change.
