Another option are some photographs or a painting like at http://customtoyportrait.com. I took pictures of my toddlers baby shoes and have tucked them into our photo album. I think it seems like a happy, crazy, creative, chaotic household, and a genuinely loving couple who are doing what they love and finding success. I understand the need to pitch things, but some things are worth saving. My grandmother and my mother saved cards and letters. They have both passed. What a treat to have my mother's letters home when she was a young woman starting out on her own and to have all of her 1940s gradeschool valentines pasted into her scrapbook.
