I like the new look of AT/Kitchn, but the merging of the three other sites into this one is just moronic. I never thought it was that easy to sift through all the contents on those sites, and now you're making it 4 times worse. And the new names for the sites now that they are merged? Seem a little ridiculous, too, when all of your loyal readers came to know and love them by that name.

I will still continue to read and check in, but I think this was a Netflix-like step backward for you guys.

Great list! We are two peas in a tech pod, Taryn. I equally love each of your picks, and am delighted by the suggestion of the camera strap buddy - I'll be scooping that up! Thanks!

I LOVE the green color of the walls, and the black and white scheme, too, but I think this would look even better with other pops of color about the room - like the red you said you were dreaming of originally, or yellows or oranges from the chest of the penguin (4th picture). Just my opinion, though! Overall, very cute! Nice job!

Everyone has their own opinions on potty training, and everyone's kids are different. So what works for one might not work for another.

Having said that, though, when I started worrying about needing to potty train my 2 1/2 year old before our next baby comes (next month), my neighbor, who's daughter is 4 months younger, told me she had used this "method" or guide and that her daughter was trained within a week. It's called the 3 Day Potty Training Method. I was really skeptical, but I tried it, followed it to the T, and our little dude was potty trained within a week, also. Here's the website: http://www.3daypottytraining.com/

Hope you find something that works for you, though!

In the back of my mind, for years, I've wanted to buy a both a telephone table and pie safe and update them, if ever I found one at the right price and time. Would love both of those pieces.

I LOVE this! I think it is my favorite entry in the contest thus far... And I'm entered in it! Haha : ) Love the curtains, love the artwork, love the blocks in the jar. The whole space is just great, good work mama! And as a side note, I also love the name Atticus.

I love this room, and I think the cowhide rug is a great idea in a kids room. But I actually wanted to comment to say that those two dolls(?) on Edie's bed... they kinda freak me out, lol. Are they handmade? Hand-me-downs? Where are they from, they're interesting.

@laurasea smadams is right! It is DwellStudio.

@ameliadk It is Wesley Allen, the Timberlake model, and I believe that their website lists their dealers, so you can find one nearby.

@caebe The two prints hanging over the side of the bed I bought at Target, (a while ago), and they are just simple maps of Paris and London.

Thanks again for all of the nice comments. : )

@carrie8 Go Red Raiders! I'm glad someone noticed it!

@twylag My Mom actually made that for us! It's just wood, but she hand painted it! And then drilled holes in it and strung lights through it! She wanted to make something very unique for his room as a gift last Christmas, and she just came up with it.

@Julia the bedtime print is from etsy from a seller named MySweetPrints. I think I originally spied it here on Ohdeedoh in another nursery. : )

I just now realized I submitted the picture without the bedskirt on the bed! I am a little embarassed, haha : ) I have one on there now, of course, I just hadn't bought one yet when I took the pictures, and I forgot to retake it.

@doubledutch, the lamp is from Target! I had had my eye on it for a while, too, and was thrilled it went so well with his new room.

Thanks for your comments!

I can't vote either! But also, I would like to hear your answer to correna79's question! It will be a while, but we have one boy now, and another one on the way, and I can't wait to room them together... when did you start yours rooming together?

We have the last one pictured, from Ikea, in our guest bedroom, and we get compliments on it all the time. And guests seem to think it's particularly comfortable. We also just ordered a beautiful "Timberlake" twin bed from Wesley Allen for our son's new big boy room. Can't wait til it gets in!

I keep an Amazon gift "registry", if you will, for my son, (I just call it a wishlist). I keep a handful of things on it that he needs or would be interested in, and I've given the link to his three sets of grandparents, who were constantly asking me what he would like or need, before I set it up. I would NEVER give this list to someone other than close family... which basically is comprised of the 6 people who already have the link for it. I can't imagine someone having a gift registry for a child's birthday party. That's unbelievably selfish.
