I can't believe no one has mentioned peanut butter and sweet pickles. Yum, the best! I can't deal with peanut butter and tuna but I might try alfalfa sprouts. Pickles...yum.

I just made the best sweet potato, lime/coconut soup with some fresh spinach- I can't find the specific recipe online. It's a copy from my mom. It's amazing. Tonight I'm making tofu fingers with some type of veggie side. I really want to bake homemade graham crackers but I have no limits when it comes to baked goods.

When I first looked at the pics, I thought it looked like a really sweet kitchen. I can imagine sharing glasses of wine with friends and catching up. Then, I scrolled through the comments and thought hmmm, is it not as cute as I thought? I scrolled back up and it turns out I was right the first time. Love it!

I love this kitchen. It's fresh and clean. I'd love to see the rest of their home.

I've used another homemade one with Dr. Bronner's, vinegar, washing soda and I can't remember the other ingredient but it left a weird feeling on all of my clothes. The Dr. Bronner's does, like lainamae said, fade clothes. :(

Method is a good alternative.

Vegetarian chili with sweet potatoes from Real Simple. Yum. Post punk vegan cornbread. And I'm going to try my hand at some seitan for sandwiches.

OK, I finally got around to making these. I used 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce and 1/2 c. oil in place of the 1 c. oil. They turned out great! I would up the salt 1/4 t. next time. I also would probably only use 3/4 c. maple syrup.

Some possible variations:
adding some cinnamon and some apple jelly or even just chunks of cooked apple and cinnamon.

These are tasty and pretty simple!
