very cute! these remind me of christmas ornaments I got last year from coincasa in Italy. They were laser cut felt.

If you go to home depot they sell all the materials you need to make your own screens at any size. It's inexpensive and easy to do. I would suggest finding some way to attach the screens to the inner area of your window so your cat can not pull them out. Also you want them to stay in place if the cat pushes against them.

Where is the cane bench from? My cats would probably rip it to shreds but I can always dream!

I love all of the items/furniture, a great mix of new and old. For color though I would have really liked if the wall with the tv was painted something other than white as a contrast.

I have to say I really, really like your kitchen chairs against the yellow wall. Total 70's throwback but in a good way.

I agree with Peggy, an inventive use with the stripes but with an apartment that already is so angular the stripes come across as harsh. I think more curved shapes or even textures could have really softened the space.

I agree add some softness to this space. Good color but would you consider some art or a wall hanging directly over the bed? Maybe a curtain to divide the bathroom from the bedroom.
Also maybe try painting the entire alcove with the tv the dark brown instead of the back wall as this would make the tv not compete as much with the fireplace. And painting the surface on the kitchen island where the bar stools are would really help add color to the space without having to paint the entire room. Just my suggestions, you can take them or leave them!

Great use of color Lorie. I know I've seen the first photo of the dining room elsewhere before. I remember the turquoise candelabras!

Maybe I don't get it. The only color combination I really like is in the third photo with the red stained furniture and the greens of the painting.

In the first photo I like the blue of the wall art, the brown wall, and the orange wall stripe. I find the red curtains distracting though and think would be better if the curtains were the same color as the orange wall stripe or even a green to contrast with the orange. Fine job overall though.
