@MKL11 I do this with gluten free crust, and it works very well. I always par-bake, even when making fresh (not frozen) pizza crusts. I normally freeze them without toppings, but I'm sure they would work just as well pre-topped.

I have the Le Creuset kettle in the photo above and would recommend it. Beautiful on the stove, works quickly, and keeps water hot enough for a second cup without re-boiling. I've had it just over three years, but I expect it to last a very, very long time.

King Arthur Flour Gluten Free Bread mix is the best one I've had. Expensive at $7 or $9 per box, but you can slice it thin for sandwiches because it actually bends without breaking.

Made this tonight for dinner adding red onion to one pizza and roasted garlic to the other. The roasted garlic was definitely the winner. We'll be making this again.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one left hungrier by apples. I don't understand it, but I'm always hungrier after eating an apple than I was before.

If I'm at home, a splash of tamari (wheat-free soy sauce), toasted sesame oil, and a runny-yolked fried egg on top. When I'm taking it to go, I go for a scoop of peanut butter and slice a banana into it once at work.

I agree, everything tastes better outdoors. We had a different brand growing up, but we made these all the time while camping.

I do the same thing, except with a quick over-easy egg. Put an egg on it and it's a meal! It's magic.

I got this one and it's working out well. It has both landscape and portrait options bc it's printed on both sides.

Then-boyfriend, now husband had movers pick up his stuff in Portland, OR to deliver to DC. A month later, they show up....with the wrong stuff. Owner was a complete jerk about the whole situation on the phone. Eventually, another month later, the right boxes show up. Beaten, battered, mattress looks like it was dragged through mud. By some miracle, everything was there (or nearly everything, maybe 1-2 boxes missing). Despite heated phone conversations, refused to even discount price. From the time he hired them to the time his belongings were delivered, the company rating on BBB went from A- to C-. Was extra frustrating because he had actually checked & researched company!

I second the recommendation for the Pioneer Woman's restaurant style salsa recipe. I had my doubts seeing the list of ingredients, but it really is a great recipe - just be warned it is a huge batch of salsa!

pupusas, arepas, empanadas, gorditas, sopes and huaraches are all things I've made with masa, but I think you'd count them all as masa "shells."

I would think it could also be used for coating/dredging things for frying and for thickening soups/stews.

I tried to buy the pieces from the Container Store several weeks ago (I wanted to do the same thing as the Question Writer in our kitchen, for a few small items.) They are all on sale and none were available in any of the stores in our area. When we asked the employees about ordering them or when they might get more delivered we were told they've been discontinued. Sorry! I hope someone else has found a similar product elsewhere.

In our rental, the microwave is an under-cabinet model, mounted over the stove. It has a surface light and a fan, but is pretty worthless and doesn't vent outside. When we cook something that may smoke or has an odor that might linger in the apartment (like frying) we open the kitchen window and put a fan at the other end of the kitchen, to send all the air right out the window. Our kitchen and dining room is a long galley, so that actually works pretty well.

Beautiful place, I love the feel of it, and I really love the kitchen. It's already been asked, but I'll ask again - where is the spice rack from? It rocks.
