Now I believe in heaven....

I love lemon bars and these were even better than I expected. Also, I like the tips on the bottom of the recipe. I microwaved the lemons and it worked perfectly.

Lucky duck! too much really good feta...I agree with Athena and Diertac, you want to taste that yummy feta in all its glory!

Either a traditional hortiatiki salad or dakos (toasted crusty bread with crumbled feta, diced tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil and maybe a little oregano and black pepper).

Just made some last week. My recipe called for boiling water, just wondering if that does anything different to the dough.

Also, I brushed the dough with sesame oil instead of vegetable oil and it gave it a nice flavor.

Who's making bread this weekend? Now that you all mentioned toast with butter, I know I am!

Besides my carbs, CHEESE!

@tamalinn Open a small can (for 4) of pillsbury crescent rolls. Unroll and lay flat on a baking dish. Place a wheel of brie in the center, spread on some jam (I like raspberry). Wrap up the brie with the dough. Drizzle a little honey or syrup, sprinkle a little brown sugar, bake for 20 minutes of so on 350. DEVOUR with apple slices or crackers.

Cooking develops motor skills, math, reading.... I remember cooking in elementary school as a part of several lessons. Kids are excited by cooking for all the reasons we're all in love with it too.

I've got such a thing for spoon rings and bracelets. I love this! A great way to display old unique kitchen tools that you don't use often. Also, since they're on hooks, you can still take them down and use them!

I try to plan the theme of the party based on a cute invite that I can make. If I'm inviting people I don't see often, I might scan the invite or try to recreate it online and email them.

Facebook events can be personalized and are helpful for keeping track of who's coming, what they're bringing, but seems more appropriate if you don't care how many people show up!

Fritters look delicious... can't wait to try them!

Single serving of Mac n' cheese. Throw in whatever cheeses you have in the fridge, (cheddar and parmesan are good), some milk, pepper, a pinch of flour and put it in the broiler until the top browns.

Or... a mini pasta salad. Few fresh veggies and italian dressing!
