Costco sells their whirlpool appliances with a 2 year warranty, and they look VERY similar to many of ikea's whirlpool appliances. Ikea has the 5 year warranty which is better than many. We are about to build our house and we are doing all IKEA as well.
The other bonus is you know the ikea appliances will fit with their cabinets.
As far as saying "ikea" on the appliances, how is that any different from any other logo on ANY appliance. My current fridge prominently says Maytag, my oven says Amana, my tv says Magnavox. Why can't Ikea's appliances say IKEA? Just curious....
