I make burritos. Black beans with cheese, ranch, and hot sauce, they are my quick to go meal that I love. But since I live alone 90% of my meals are eaten alone, so I do cook full meals too.

I have been debating removing the doors to my cabinets.

My kitchen sink has floating cabinets that form part of the wall that separates the kitchen and dining room. Done completely in white, I recently painted the kitchen walls a fresh apple green but the cabinets are still white. Not sure if I should paint the cabinets or leave them white and pant the inside of the cabinets and leave the doors off.

Any ideas?

I have a small crock pot and a rice cooker. I make roasts in the crock pot and split the meat out into small portions for lunches and dinner. My problem is forgetting things in the freezer and having to toss them when I dig them out two months later.

I got mocked in the south a lot for having couscous and left over mexican in my lunch. Anything that was not collard greens and chicken or a sandwich was frowned upon. But I loved the couscous so I was happy.

I have the same plant on my porch and it is going crazy. I am about to bring it in but so far it loves sun and moderate watering, too much makes it look yellow. Once a week or so was working for me. Try and give you an update once mine is inside.

At least I would say repot, give it some room to grow and unclump the roots.

I used to get the strawberry butter at the grocery store and it was amazing on bagels, they stopped carrying it so I may have to try this!

Cooking depressed is fun too. After you are just too tired to even look at the kitchen and you are on your third day of take out you start to realize just how bad it is. The chocolate cake for breakfast does not help either.

I love the bento boxes and tiffin tins but the only way I have to heat things is a mocrowave at work. Are there any bento that work in the microwave?

Our work bans knives over 1/2 an inch long but I do have a good bowl, fork and spoon along with some good salad dressing in the fridge for a once or twice a week salad.

Lately I have been bringing a loaf of bread so I can make a quick sandwich to go with my soup cup on busy days. I also have lemonade packs for the days I cannot stand another machine soda.

I always need tips for lunch at work. I eat out way too much and have been trying to bring lunches but I cannot do sandwiches for more then a day or two before they start to be trashed after a bite or two. I have a real problem with getting bored with lunches. Any ideas to vary it up?
