I boil the potatoes with plenty of salt, rice them, then whip them with a quart of cream for every pound of butter, some roasted garlic, plenty of sour cream or cream cheese, whichever I have, and some salt ground white pepper. Our Best Tips & Advice for Great Mashed Potatoes |

KitchenAid's eBay store is also great place to find various refurbished things all the time. The usually have a rotating selection of stand mixers, attachments, blenders, and anything else you could want. I got my stand mixer there last year, and you wouldn't know it wasn't brand new.
