Anyone know a good light or series of lights for plants that are also attractive for humans? I live with a giant indoor ficus tree, which needs more direct light than it gets from the north facing windows. All the "plant lights" I see are hideous. Ready to renovate and would be happy to install something more permanent --- or anything at all --- if anyone has lighting recommendations. Keep looking for a charity that will take stuffed animals. In New York City there are several. Also ask anyone you know who works with children or has grandchildren or sends things in good condition to folks overseas, you may find appreciative new homes for those zebras yet! I do it withou the vinaigrette (I use a tiny bit of honey with fresh squeezed red grapefruit juice and some olive oil) and top off with fresh diced mint. Oh and dried cranberries to give it some red color along with the green. Divine! Recipe: Wheat Berry Salad with Blood Oranges, Feta & Red Onion Vinaigrette Recipes from The Kitchn |
