This looks like it was inspired by the polka dots/mirrors/mannequins art piece in the Mattress Factory Art Museum in Pittsburgh (http://www.livearts-fringe.org/blog/enclosures/mattress1.jpg). Not to my taste but I can see where they were going with the idea. Bathroom Invasion: Red Spots | Apartment Therapy New York |

I agree with brittney and miltoncat... this idea would only work in a home without children or clumsy adults. I know I'd knock something off the shelves in a week! Look! Sliding Bookcase Divider Natural Home | Apartment Therapy Boston |

The after is nice, but the before is NEAT! Maybe the other aspects of the bathroom needed renovating, but that mural is so unique and interesting... rather than just the standard, boring, "nice" bathroom that is the after. Before After: The Monet Mural Bathroom | Apartment Therapy Boston |

I am completely and utterly delighted with this concept, and I can imagine that many of my guests would be as well - especially the argyle! Chair Personality Socks | Apartment Therapy DC |

This is only a good idea if you've forgotten your own school days... it was always such a pain in the butt to wrestle anything in or out of my lockers. The "doorway" is smaller than the "room" which means you can't pack to the edges. Totally impractical for kitchen storage. When painting my bedroom, I realized I'd forgotten to get one of those sticks to mix it with. Then I remembered a friend tell me I could mix the paint by making sure the paint lid was tightly secure and just shaking the can. So I went for it - but forgot the first step! The lid shot off and I got paint all over myself and the floor. Luckily everything cleaned up okay, and my roommates and I got a huge laugh out of it! I live in a group house where we're all fairly recently graduated from college, and thus all have plans to go "home" to our parents' in different cities for the holidays. But we wanted to go ahead and decorate anyways - a little tree, a few strands of lights, not too much, but enough for us to feel like the house is really home.
