When I was 18 years old I was plunging a Bodum French press and it exploded. The scalding hot coffee inside gave me second degree burns on my inner forearm. I ignored the burns (well, someone put butter on them) and they blistered into huge puss filled blisters and I got ill. I went to the doctor and got better.
