Love, love LOVE the ink blots!! Can anyone tell me exactly how to make these? Sounds rather messy... That room would also look great with one of MY geometric patterened black and white globes! I think you have a good start! Maybe just find some fabric or ready made pillows to match that lime green bowl on your coffea table. Also books or a candle or two on the table wouldn't hurt. In your diningroom, I would maybe replace the light. Check IKEA for a cheapy overhead light that is more contemporary, like maybe their basket type. Then paint, paint, paint!! Does your livingroom connect to, or visible from the diningroom? Maybe a toned down lime green paint in the dining are would pull both together. It's a "black comment", but not about the kitchen. So sorry if I am in the wrong place here, I'm brand new and not sure what I'm doing. Does anyone have a link to a black painted wall or staircase? I am seriously thinking about p[ainting the ugly white spindles black, but am afraid it will bring the whole room "down". I'd submit a pic, but don't know where to do that.
