I miss my family and friends from the north, but not the constant traffic, terrible drivers, and uber crime levels (my sister just had her face bashed in for telling a guy she wasn't interested in him). Here in Charlotte, the homeless people sing to you!

I love soups - especially potato and leek. if you're not a leek fan, you can use the same basic recipe, omitting the leeks, add a a few things that you would put on a baked potato et voila! baked potato soup.

still drooling over those italian linen panels from the amsterdam sugar loft.....sigh. how much would i love to hang beautiful drapery in my bedroom? a lot.

i'm not so picky. i could take discount linen...and i only need maybe four...alright, six to be safe. in an oatmeal-y beige color.

it's definitely way ahead of the pony on the wish list.
