These are such fun! The bunk bed is wonderful, and I'm going to go check out that porcupine print! We have a thing for porcupines in our house.

I love this house and the simple furnishings. Good job!

Where does the rug on the front hall stairs come from?

I'd like a day with my family plus a small gift or flowers or a card - any basic acknowledgment is fine by me. Last year we went to brunch at a favorite kid-friendly diner. I can't imagine Mother's Day *without* my kids!

We ordered a t-shirt off of Cafe Press that said "I'm going to be a big brother!" My son wore it when visiting with both sets of grandparents. I was surprised to find that both grandmas took a full minute or two to process it. The grandpas got it right away, though!

We bought the My First Anywhere Chair from PB Kids for our son's first birthday. He loved it and until quite recently used it exclusively. He's now almost three and is starting to park himself in the middle of the couch but still goes to his chair once or twice a day. FYI, as a medium-sized almost three-year-old, he still fits in the My First chair. I'd say in another few months he'll be too big.

The slipcovers on these chairs are great. (We have the red.) I've washed and washed ours and it still looks good.

I have a set of the blankets. They are *wonderful* for a spring/summer baby and are now one of my go-to baby shower gifts. Check around for pricing. The four-pack that I bought at Target was a lot cheaper than the four-pack from Gap, although Gap had better patterns!

Lovely! I'm glad you preserved the stained glass in the door, too.

Can you share where the bedding is from?

Thanks, everyone. I understand the "say no" comments and you all have a good point. We do say no to various behaviors and he has learned not to do many things. And we're not planning to strap every piece of furniture in the house to the walls. However, he's asking to sleep on a mat on the floor rather than in his crib, and I'd like to feel confident that he'll be safe from predictable dangers if we let him do so and he gets up during a nap and decides to play before I realize that he's awake. So, we'll be checking out the hammer drill and extension rods up to the ceiling (novel idea!). Who knows, I might just even see if I can bolt the dresser to the floor!

We have a Britax Marathon convertible seat for our son and are very happy with it. He's 2 and a half and probably won't grow out of it for another year. My brother uses a Sunshine Radian convertible for his *very* tall toddler and gives it high marks.

As for stroller, I'd suggest the Chicco Cortina for price, features, and longevity. It reclines all the way to flat and gives a nice smooth ride. The basket is a good size, and it can take a child from infant (flat recline!) through toddlerhood. The Maclaren Quest Sport is also a nice stroller, light and easy to steer, but better for for keeping in the car trunk and navigating stores, farmer's markets, etc. It's a less roomy seat and our toddler's legs now hang past the footrest.

We got our car seat with a 20% off coupon at Babies R Us (ask at customer services for coupons - they usually have little books of them good for certain dates) and our Maclaren on sale since it was the previous year's model.

I bought a pair of blackout liners from Target recently. The materials listed were cotton and polyester, and they didn't have any sort of stinky fumes to them, so I figured they were safe. They do help, although they're very narrow, only 27" wide each. This is enough to cover the window, barely, but doesn't match the size of my curtains. I just tacked them to the top and inside hems of the curtains and spend about 10 seconds making sure they're over the window when I close the curtains at night.

Sorry - I just realized that the curtain in the picture is a shower curtain, not a window curtain! LOL.

I buy pussy willow branches in March and put them in a big vase; their dramatic branches have immediate impact and remind me of all the other plants and flowers to come, and they last for quite a while.

In the bedroom, I swap out the winter blankets and comforters for lighter spring/summer ones. They always make the room feel new, even though I didn't have to buy anything.

Can someone tell me how to get a hold of the curtains in the picture? I'm working on a nursery for a baby girl an they'd be great! They aren't on the Anthropologie site.
